Long-termie: "The week my friends came..."

On Tuesday we had swimming sports. There were three houses: Buckland-blue, Kiwa-red and -yellow.

Lukas and I were in Buckland.
Every year, when the swimming sports are on, everybody dresses up, but in the colours of their house.




On Monday it was very cold and it rained a lot, so we didn't know if the swimming sports would be on the next day. But we were lucky and on Tuesday it was a perfect and nice day with lots of sun, it reached 35 °C.


In the morning, when we arrived at school, the house colours met up in groups and we talked and put blue paint on our faces. We left school at 9:30 am to go to the swimming pool by bus, it was in Mt. Beauty; we drove 30 minutes.

We had swimming competitions the whole day. I swam twice, because a girl from year 10 was sick. The girls and boys didn't race together, and two people from each house were in each race. For every race there were different age groups.
It was a good and funny day.


It finished at 2:45 pm.

Arrived in Bright, Jazz, 4 other people and I chilled in the ice creamery. We were waiting for the bus, because the other German students came on this bus.
At 5 pm they arrived in Bright. I was very excited and happy to see my friends again.



At 6 pm I had netball training, so we had to hurry up. Maggy and Steffi came to netball training, too. But they only had a look.
